Christina Mitsi is a highly qualified nutritionist and dietitian, holding a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the European University of Cyprus, which she completed in 2019. During her studies, she gained valuable practical experience through an internship at the German Oncology Center, where she became familiar with quality control processes such as HACCP and ISO22000. She also worked with various industries across Cyprus, including processed meats, ice cream, dairy products, brewing, organic farming, juice and soft drink manufacturing, winemaking, hotel kitchens, and elderly care centers. Her undergraduate thesis, titled "The Correlation Between Aerobic and Anaerobic Exercise in Relation to Obesity,"explored the connection between exercise types and obesity. In 2019, Christina advanced her studies with a Master's degree in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics, specializing in Clinical Nutrition, which she completed in 2021. During this time, she interned at the Mediterranean Public Hospital and a weight loss center, where she gained hands-on experience with clinical cases and weight management programs. Her Master's thesis, *"The Impact of Omega-3 Fatty Acid Supplementation on Pancreatic and Lung Cancer,"* focused on the therapeutic potential of specific nutrients in cancer care. Furthering her expertise, Christina completed an online program in Eating Disorders from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2021, enhancing her knowledge in this specialized area of nutrition. In 2024, Christina successfully completed her second Master's degree in Sports Nutrition, continuing her commitment to professional development. Follow-up sessions will help monitor progress and make adjustments to your plan. Bring any relevant medical records and a food diary to ensure a more accurate assessment.
